Fund an Inmate Account with the Touchpay Payment System
On July 9, 2013, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office installed Touchpay Systems’ cash kiosks at the Central Receiving Facility and the Lerdo Max/Med facility. Using these kiosks, depositors can place money on an inmate’s account using either the inmate number or the inmate’s name. In addition to the kiosks, deposits can be made via telephone, the Internet, or at select retail locations.
